In order to attract public attention to issues related to the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system, the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has initiated and organized a symbolic marathon. Marathon, which was one and half kilometres, was held on the seafront in the heart of the city.
Over 500 people attended the marathon. According to the results of the marathon race winners got tablets for the first place, smart phones for the second place and cameras for third place. Peachline provided technical, information and organizational support to this event. Its success makes it possible to hope that the marathon will become an annual and much more massive event, and Baku will enter the list of cities which will organize official marathons and half marathon among fans.
